Srinagar: The School Education Department is mulling to begin an exhaustive workout to confirm the diploma certificate of the teaching faculty of the branch.
The pass comes within the wake of an extensive wide variety of complaints to the department concerning the fake certificate received by in-carrier teachers, masters, and teachers.
A professional stated that the candidates had produced the fake certificates at the time of recruitment. At the same time, a few managed to get such certificates for their promotions and other carrier blessings.
“I am receiving a lot of lawsuits each day about the fake certificates received utilizing the academics, masters, and academics working inside the department. We have decided to verify anyone’s certificates,” Principal Secretary School Education Department, Bishwajit Kumar Singh informed Greater Kashmir.

Earlier, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) terminated a teacher Amit Kachroo from services after discovering that he was given his task after producing a fake diploma certificate.
Kachroo became appointed beneath the Prime Minister’s Package.

The School Education Department in August 2015 ordered departmental verification of the ranges of Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers to crosscheck credentials of ReTs and RReTs. They submitted their degree certificates to the branch at the time of recruitment.
In 2018, the branch again confirmed the diploma certificate of the erstwhile SSA instructors after the authorities ordered their absorption as Grade II and Grade III instructors in the unit.
“But this time, the department will affirm the diploma certificates of all teachers to examine the authenticity of the degrees acquired via these instructors,” Singh stated.
He said that a few instructors had produced diploma certificates presented by Nagaland University and other similar establishments and had been running in the branch for decades.
“The verification technique will set matters right and convey transparency,” Singh stated.
