However, when she arrived at the college together with her mark sheets, she was informed that the six subjects she had in school were no longer recognized by DU —Alternative English and Education.

The combination of my exceptional 4 topics turned into ninety-three .E right in line with cent, which also included Alternative English. “The cut-off for English for Scheduled Tribes became 92.5 in keeping with cent. I became advised that if I have been to include Alternative English or Education in my excellent of four subjects, 10 marks might be reduced from both of the two,” says the more youthful of siblings, who placed up at the home of a family pal in Faridabad during the path of the admissions.
For the following few days, she made a couple of visits to Miranda House. “Elective English is known through DU. After going via the syllabus, I realized that it became the same for Elective English and Alternative English,” she says.

About what kept her going, Satabdee talks about her mother’s struggles. “From a small town, she fought against all odds to study at Gauhati University. This turned into a time when girls might no longer even step out to take a look at,” she says.
