Alberta’s Writing-on-Stone monument named UNESCO World Heritage Site

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization has delivered Alberta’s Writing-on-Stone monument to its list of World Heritage Sites. The federal authorities say the designation, made at UNESCO’s annual assembly in Azerbaijan on Saturday, follows more than a decade of advocacy with the aid of Indigenous organizations and the provincial government.

The site, described as an “ancient and sacred cultural panorama in which Indigenous peoples have created rock art for millennia,” is contained inside Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
Known as Aisinai’pi (“it’s miles pictured/written”) in Blackfoot, the web page incorporates thousands of rock carvings and artwork, consisting of a few chronicle historic activities inclusive of Indigenous People’s first contact with Europeans.

The Government of Alberta stated that Writing-on-Stone contained “the maximum significant concentration of blanketed First Nations petroglyphs (rock carvings) and pictographs (rock artwork) at the Great Plains of North America. Some of the carvings and paintings date lower back 2,000 years.”
The nomination becomes organized with the aid of the provincial government in partnership with the Blackfoot Confederacy and with ongoing help from the Government of Canada.
“Writing-on-Stone/Áísínai’pi is the website online of many herbal wonders and a testimony to the extremely good ingenuity and creativity of the Blackfoot human beings,” Jason Nixon, Minister of Environment and Parks, said in a news launch Saturday. “It’s clear to see why the website is seen by way of many as an expression of the confluence of the spirit and human worlds. I desire all Albertans will take some time to explore this tremendous part of the province and all it has to provide.”

The province estimates about 60,000 human beings visit the website online each year.
It becomes Alberta’s 6th World Heritage Site and the 20th in Canada. Today let’s talk about writing posts for your blog, Facebook timeline or groups, or anywhere else you post the articles you write. Here I would never outsource my article writing ever. I want everything I write and put my name on in any posts to be MINE. This is my experience, this is how I feel, and this is what I want to give to my readers. No one else can produce a copy that is yours except YOU.

This is so very important to me, and to become an authoritative figure on the internet. Imagine people reading your stuff and formulating an opinion of you, and what they are reading was not even written by you. That is just bogus to me and not an honest way to do internet marketing. It would help if you wrote your articles. That way, you are the person, the presence that is writing to them. That is why so many times when I write articles, I talk about my business and my life. Because I am ME. And I want my readers to know me and connect with me. If I talk business, then I am just another trainer, not a real person. ALWAYS be yourself when you write. Try to always say what you feel and what you are trying to tell people.

NEVER be afraid of being honest when you write. If people hate your honesty, so be it. But at least you get an opinion from them. When I write my articles, I don’t mind whatever comments or feedback readers give me. If they want to tell me what I wrote is great, that is wonderful. And I always thank them for their compliments. If they want to tell me that my article sucks, so be it. That is what writing is about. To get a reaction, and of course, to inform and educate. If you look at the comments on my blog, you will see I post all relevant comments, good or critical. At least I got noticed. At least people are reading what I wrote. My stuff I wrote myself. Not some copy I outsourced.
