The Producer: Education & Development Programs is accountable for the effective management and presentation of initiatives that are part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s suite of Development Programs. Projects include national delivery of Class Clowns, Deadly Funny, Deadly Funny Kids, Conversations about Comedy (along with Jeez Louise), and future Development Programs yet to be conceived.
The position collaborates with the Associate Director, Festival Director, and Executive Director to create attractively and stimulating sports for contributors through sturdy enterprise and inventive partnerships.
The Producer will venture to manage programs through to a hit finishing touch inclusive of making plans and generating budgets, modeling earnings alternatives, negotiating offers and contracts, and coping with the various inner and outside stakeholders concerned. Key Responsibilities
Develop budgets for all Development Programs, workshops, and competition finals nationally, including unique costing of expenditure, and manipulate this system budgets via finishing touch.

Update, create and craft resources and statistics for Development Programs (e.G. Reality sheets, manuals, seminars, and activities).
Manage the daily relationship with Arts Centre Melbourne to plan and deliver collaborative workshops, occasions, LOL Squad, Up Next Comedy, Class Clowns heats, and kingdom finals.
Ensure accurate and well-timed reporting on program shipping and development towards plans.
In consultation with the advertising crew, put together an advertising approach for all applications to expand new audiences for Development Programs nationally and supply key stakeholder goals.
